摘要: Assessing the retention of aerosol particles in human lung, one most important pathways absorption, is a demanding issue. At present, there no direct biomarker exposure for respiratory system. The collection exhaled breath condensate (EBC) constitutes new non-invasive method sampling from lung. However, heterogeneity sample due to particulate matter suspended condensed phase may influence quality analytical results occupational assessments. main objective study was identify levels workplace by determining metal concentrations air and confirm presence condensate, as well investigate how large suspension could be determine their elemental contents relative those EBC matrix. This paper reports on preliminary nuclear microprobe data EBC. sizes workers lead processing industry non-exposed individuals were evaluated. Results demonstrated that contain isolated agglomerates, contrasting with individuals. contained high several elements, including Cl,
