摘要: The prevalence of obesity has dramatically increased over the last decades. Weight loss obtained through diet and exercise leads to a significant decrease in morbidity mortality. Recently, there been growing interest possible beneficial effects dietary supplements (DSs), including polyphenols, fatty acids, other plant-derived substances, as adjuvants management metabolic diseases. Specifically, widely spread vegetables fruits, significantly modulate adipose tissue activities, contrasting inflammation improving insulin sensitivity preclinical clinical studies. Remarkably, polyphenols are involved complex microRNA networks, which play crucial roles processes. administration different compounds led changes expression profile peripheral tissues number In particular, these were able revert obesity-induced dysregulation, leading inhibition adipogenesis induction weight loss. Furthermore, modulation, they attenuated key alterations, resistance lipid anomalies, animal models obesity. Some them also reduce proinflammatory cytokines tissue. aim this review is summarize current evidence about effect DSs on
