New structure for bit synchronization in a terabit-per-second optical interconnection network

摘要: A novel structure has been designed for bit synchronization in a terabit-per-second optical interconnection network with adjustable delay lines. The two-stage consists of 1024 links connected to central switching module. distributed clock is at each node computer. Zero link setup time can be achieved by precisely matching the phases pair and signal. link-to-link reduced less than 20 ns network. Even three-stage that accommodate 32,768 links, maintained below 30 ns. At same time, total bidirectional bandwidth 98.304 Tbit/s obtained. Since entirely domain, this independent transmission rates.
