摘要: Abstract The imposition of severe plastic straining on an Al–3% Mg–0.2% Sc alloy through equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP) reduces the grain size to ca. 0.2 μm and provides opportunity achieve superplastic elongations at high strain rates. Experiments were conducted evaluate procedure for optimizing ECAP process in order attain maximum ductilities. results show that: (i) are achieved only after each sample has been subjected a sufficiently establish homogeneous array grains separated by angle boundaries (ii) when using processing route B C which is rotated 90° same sense between consecutive die.
