摘要: These lectures discuss the information which can be obtained about electronic structure, phonons, and electron-phonon interaction in crystals by means of laser Raman spectroscopy. As prototype materials we choose conventional semiconductors (Ge, Si, GaAs) for considerable amount knowledge has accumulated during past 40 years, high-T c superconductors have been headlines ten years. The technique yields low frequency excitations (bosons), energies typically below 0.5 eV. either a vibronic (phonons, localized vibrational modes) or an nature(electronic interband transitions, plasmons, magnons). Examples mixed nature will also discussed.
