摘要: Abstract Digestate has certain amount of plant nutrients and organic matter can be used as fertilizer. However, it significant methane formation potential, could contribute to the emission greenhouse gases (GHGs) hence need managed carefully. The main purpose this study was find environmentally suitable options for digestate management. In from a continuously operated pilot-scale thermophilic dry anaerobic digester monitored its characteristics like TS, VS, C N. It found that C/N ratio 15–20 most period, which is safe range application agricultural land without further treatment. Based on characteristics, GHG potential determined at different phases handling/management (raw digestate, stored stored-cured digestate) net five proposed scenarios Results showed raw had maximum 139 g CO 2 -eq/kg waste compared having 125 80 g CO respectively. Similarly, storage months emit 10% total potential. Moreover, minimum in management digestate.
