The double mass hierarchy pattern: Simultaneously understanding quark and lepton mixing

摘要: Abstract The charged fermion masses of the three generations exhibit two strong hierarchies m 3 ≫ 2 1 . We assume that also neutrino satisfy ν > and derive consequences hierarchical spectra on fermionic mixing patterns. quark lepton matrices are built in a general framework with their matrix elements expressed terms four mass ratios, u / c , t d s b e μ τ for sector, respectively. In this framework, we show resulting consistent data both quarks leptons, despite large leptonic angles. minimal assumption take is one flavor symmetry breaking strongly follows from phenomenology. No special structure has to be assumed cannot motivated by assumption. This analysis allows us predict spectrum set lightest well below 0.01 eV. method gives σ allowed ranges elements. Contrary common expectation, angles found determined solely ratios without any relation considerations as commonly used model building. Still, our formulae can build up predicts observed — then procedure which developed work.
