摘要: The photocatalytic transformation of phenol has been investigated on naked TiO2 and TiO2/F (0.01 M F-) at pH 3.6 in the presence different alcohols (tert-butyl alcohol, 2-propanol, furfuryl alcohol). On basis a detailed kinetic analysis time evolution intermediates, it is suggested that oxidation proceeds for 90% through reaction with surficial bound hydroxyl radical, remaining 10% via direct interaction holes. almost entirely homogeneous radicals because unavailability surface-bound fluoride ions. use as diagnostic tool mechanism discussed.
