摘要: The equilibria of sterically hindered and unhindered imidazoles (B) with (protoporphyrin IX dimethyl ester)iron(III) chloride (Fe(PPDME)Cl) have been spectrophotometrically investigated in chloroform 1,2-dichloroethane. addition reaction imidazole Fe(PPDME)Cl proceeds two steps to give Fe(PPDME)B2Cl, a formation constant, K1, greater than K2. mono-adduct exhibits an absorption band at around 590 nm, which shifts longer wavelengths as the constant K1 decreases this order; 2,4-dimethyl->2-methyl->2-ethyl->2-phenyl->1,2-dimethylimidazole. apparent one step overall β2. logβ2 linearly increases basicity, pKa(BH+), imidazoles. for system NH-containing is that N-substituted by about 3.1 log units, on av...
