摘要: Cordierite ceramic filters have been shown a potential candidate for high temperature dust collection, owing to its very low thermal expansion coefficient characteristic as an attribute of excellent shock resistance. It is preferable that design porous cordierite filter should pressure drop with permeability while keeping the structural integrity. This study describes simple and direct approach fabricating honeycomb-type structure by introducing various non-through holes into mechanically foamed slurry, which subsequently in-situ solidified polymerization reaction. The gelcasting cordierite-based slurry was in nitrogen-filled chamber. resulting cast directly circular molds equipped cover having different number pins. gelled-bodies were carefully dried at 25 °C controlled humidity, followed sintering under optimized condition. collection performance, drop, gas evaluated function cordierite. Based on results tests, holey offered better application.
