Facile synthesis of oxygen doped mesoporous graphitic carbon nitride with high photocatalytic degradation efficiency under simulated solar irradiation

摘要: Abstract Oxygen doped mesoporous graphitic carbon nitride(O-mpg-C3N4) was innovatively prepared through facile two-step synthesis and characterized different characterization tools, such as XRD、SEM、XPS etc. These characterizations confirm that the as-prepared sample has separated plate-like structure with lots of gaps oxygen atoms have been successfully into them. Evaluated by photodegradation Rhodamine B Methyl Orange, O-mpg-C3N4 photocatalyst exhibits higher photocatalytic degradation efficiency, which is attributed to added active spots, shorter electronic transmission distance wider range light absorption. In addition, activity catalysts didn’t decrease significantly after five cycles, showing a high stability.
