摘要: Abstract In this work, the photocatalytic activity of a new visible light-responsive (CH3NH3)3Bi2I9 hybrid organic-inorganic perovskite (HOIP) was addressed for very first time in treatment aqueous solutions model organic dyes. The photocatalyst successfully prepared by low temperature solvo-termal method, easily reproducible. catalyst characterized Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction spectrometer (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive (EDS), photoelectron (XPS) techniques and UV diffuse reflectance spectrum. efficiency tested removal different type dyes: fluorone dye (rhodamine B), thiazine (methylene blue) azo (reactive Blue 4). Moreover, multi-contaminated solution, with methylene blue crystal violet (triarylmethane dye), used to simulate real industrial wastewater effluent. results highlighted an increase respect pristine precursor, bismuth iodide. experiments showed that values higher rhodamine B other dyes, 98% after three hours under light irradiation. also confirmed optimal conditions high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC). gradual disappearance peak accompanied appearance by-products peaks investigated. stability consecutive re-cycles. Analysis on sources performed: halogen provided LED lamp. outcomes present work aim open possibility considering HOIP as potential contaminants treatment.
