Roles of DevOps tools in an automated, dynamic service creation architecture

摘要: Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization facilitate, with their advanced programmability features, the design of automated dynamic service creation platforms. Applying DevOps principles to can further reduce times support continuous operation. Monitoring, troubleshooting, other tools have different roles within virtualised networks, depending on virtualization level, type instantiation, user intent. We implemented integrated four key that are useful in own right, but showcase also an scenario, where they form basis for a more complete realistic toolkit. The current set include message bus, rudimentary configuration tool, probabilistic congestion detector, watchpoint mechanism. demo presents potential use-cases tools.
