摘要: Research on the concept of telecommuting or telework, as it is known in various areas world, has appeared information systems (IS) and non-IS publications for more than 20 years. with respect to are quite varied, from Information Communication Technologies (ICT) use, transportation, managerial control, work-life issues, more. A significant number these studies have taken into account role technology enabling telecommuting. However, recent awareness IT artifact issue [1] raised concerns some authors, reviewers, editors when component enough consider research IS research. Others, meanwhile, believe that by definition addresses issue, this should not be a concern. In panel, we explore question whether an IS-related examining topics multiple sometimes competing perspectives.
