The researchers discuss their experiences implementing two experiments: one a courthouse and other police agency. Despite different settings, common problems surfaced both trials. authors obstacles faced running experiments suggest some strategies for avoiding these problems. It is researchers' hope that such candid discussion will help others design implement stronger experiments.
