Continuous waves generated by focused radiators

摘要: A single integration technique for calculating the pressure distribution in field of a focused sinusoidally oscillating radiator is described. This involves direct closed form one integrals Rayleigh formula; latter formula itself contains double integral corresponding to over area source transducer face. Precise experimental measurements hydrophone’s response generated by medical diagnostic are also reported, and comparison between experiment theory made. Very good agreement demonstrated with respect both amplitude phase lateral beam profiles at six different distances from transducer. At seventh distance (about 1 cm transducer) much more violent fluctuations observed than result theory.
