摘要: The development of new urethanic materials from renewable resources has aroused great interest in the scientific community due to their higher sustainability and biodegradability. In this work, synthesis characterization carbohydrate-based polyurethanes are demonstrated. Reactions were carried out with toluene diisocyanate (TDI) dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) using starch, cationic starch a commercial maltodextrin dextrose equivalent value 18.1. obtained as white powders yields ranging 36 wt.% 43 wt.%. Textural properties evaluated by BET method showed that can be classified mesoporous materials. FTIR analyses resulting polymers revealed appearance carbonyl band at 1716–1718 cm−1. typical two-step thermal decomposition TGA X-ray diffraction patterns indicated predominantly amorphous character. Formation urethane linkages was also demonstrated solid-state 13C NMR maltodextrin/TDI polyurethane. These data suggest successfully synthesized. Furthermore, these shown suitable for biodiesel purification since they able reduce amount fuel contaminants such soaps acidity.
