摘要: Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) are changing the transportation ecosystem, but micro-decisions of drivers and users need to be better understood assess system-level impacts TNCs. In this regard, we contribute literature by estimating a) individuals' preferences being a rider, driver, or non-user TNC services; b) ridehailing for ridepooling; c) drivers' choice switch vehicles with fuel economy, also d) decision buy, rent lease new driving TNCs major consideration. Elicitation using unique sample (N=11,902) U.S. population residing in TNC-served areas is key feature study. The statistical analysis indicates that services mainly attracting personal vehicle as riders, without substantially affecting demand transit. Moreover, around 10% reported postponing purchase car due availability services. model estimation results indicate likelihood user increases increase age someone younger than 44 years, pattern reversed post years.
