Covalent multi-component systems of polyoxometalates and metal complexes: Toward multi-functional organic–inorganic hybrids in molecular and material sciences

摘要: Abstract The rational design and synthesis of organic–inorganic hybrids in molecular material sciences lies at the interface several domains, such as synthetic organic inorganic chemistry, coordination chemistry supramolecular chemistry. Efforts to develop these focus not only on structural features materials, but also their applications catalysis, photochemistry, magnetism medicine. Adequate functionalization polyoxometalates allows further complex transition metals leading multi-component systems that feature combined intrinsic properties each component well new originating from combination components. We will discuss characterization both polymeric hybrids, potential science energy-related sciences.
