摘要: This paper reviews the use of Bayesian methods in meta-analysis. Whilst there has been an explosion meta-analysis over last few years, driven mainly by move towards evidence-based healthcare, so too are being used increasingly within medical statistics. many settings models mirror those previously adopted a frequentist formulation, number specific advantages conferred approach. These include: full allowance for all parameter uncertainty model, ability to include other pertinent information that would otherwise be excluded, and extend accommodate more complex, but frequently occurring, scenarios. The discussed illustrated means examining evidence relating electronic fetal heart rate monitoring perinatal mortality which is available from variety sources.
