摘要: The TEG® Hemostasis Analyzer measures the viscoelastic properties of blood in order to provide a comprehensive real-time analysis hemostasis, from initial fibrin fiber formation, platelet interactions, fibrinolysis. Such insight into hemostasis not only allows for better understanding biology and pathophysiology coagulation after injury, but also has facilitated rapid site-of-care treatment patients variety clinical settings. Consequently, number algorithms have been developed validated goal-directed transfusion therapy. This chapter reviews thromboelastography methodology technology principles system provides comparison 5000 with newer 6s Analyzer. An overview key variables measured, reference ranges, reagents used, limitations is provided, as well guidance on interpretation results. an evidence-based guide use several settings including trauma, cardiac surgery, liver transplantation, obstetrics.
