High-Resolution Spectroscopy of Jet-Cooled Naphthalene: the 000 and 3301 Bands of the Ã1B1u←X̃1Ag Transition

摘要: Rotationally resolved excitation spectra of the 000 and 3301 bands A1B1u←X1Ag electronic transition naphthalene were measured by a frequency-doubled single-mode tunable laser jet-cooled collimated molecular beam. The observed linewidth was 18 MHz, absolute wavenumber determined with an accuracy better than 0.0002 cm−1. constants X1Ag(v=0), A1B1u(v=0), A1B1u(v33=1) levels represent most accurate measurements to date. Three rotational sufficient fit 3386 lines J=1–43 Ka=0–21 standard deviation This indicates that structures are rigid both in X1Ag A1B1u states. When magnetic field applied, spectral line broadening for small Ka value state, Zeeman splitting increase increasing J. No broadening, however, band up H=0.65 T.
