摘要: Orchidaceae is one of the largest angiosperm families. Although extensively studied, reports anatomy secretory structures orchids are relatively scarce. Rodriguezia venusta an epiphytic orchid occurring in Brazil and Peru that has floral extrafloral nectaries. This study describes structure histochemistry these structures. Floral nectary samples were obtained from R. plants collected a gallery forest State Bahia, Brazil, grown greenhouse. Theses fixed processed according to routine procedures plant or for scanning electron microscopy. The nectaries occur on edge sub-edge young leaves at basal portion bracts subtend buds. They structurally very similar, being formed by parenchyma simple epidermis with stomata (“non-structured nectaries”). inserted receptacle fused labellum base, between this two inferior connate sepals. consists numerous specific nectar secreting trichomes, subnectary abundantly supplied vascular terminations. Its complex distinct other described Orchidaceae.
