摘要: In this study NCAA Division III (D-III) head coaches (n = 731) completed an online survey assessing their attitudes (i.e., stigma tolerance, confidence in sport psychology consulting, personal openness, and cultural preferences) receptivity toward consultant (SPC) services, previous experiences with access to SPC willingness encourage seek support for possible roles at D-III institutions, if predicted use services. Results indicated that who had services perceived them be effective were more willing positive SP consulting. Coaches the of performance-related concerns enhancing performance, improving focus, performing as well competition practice) was most significant predictor Responses open-ended question revealed many open but lacked resources funding. These findings on supplement research coaches’ provide other important insights recommendations practitioners researchers.
