摘要: High doses of lithium salts are used for the treatment or prevention episodes mania in bipolar disorder, but medication is rapidly excreted and also shows side effects. Li may be beneficial people with mood disorders. Nutritionally, popular foods such as wild cultivated mushrooms have low contents. This study evaluated enrichment white Agaricus bisporus using Li2CO3 solutions to fortify commercial growing substrate at various concentrations from 1.0 500 mg kg−1 dry weight (dw). Fortification up 100 dw resulted a significant (p < 0.01) dose-dependent increase accumulation mushroom, highest fortification level was found detrimental fruitification. The median values fortified corresponded levels, increasing 0.49 17 relative background concentration 0.056 (control contained 0.10 dw). potential uptake fruiting bodies decrease higher levels fortification, saturation occurring kg−1. Resulting lithiated were 300-fold richer content than specimens grown on control substrate. showed some effects other trace minerals, co-accumulated Ag, Al, As, Ba, Cd, Co, Cr, Cs, Cu, Hg, Mn, Ni, Pb, Rb, Sr, Tl, U, V Zn similar lower reported literature A. bisporus. These could considered pro-medicinal alternative treatments that use salts.
