摘要: Understanding the circulation of Arctic is basis for considering questions relating to transport contaminants from all sources. In this study a numerical ice-ocean model has been used address problems dispersion and pathways in water column. We investigate sensitivity contaminant distribution parameterization sub-grid-scale eddies representation tracer advection. An implementation flux-corrected helps preserve properties along their advective paths. Eddy found be important insofar as eddy-topography interactions contribute propelling sustaining narrow boundary currents. These currents, cyclonic around each its subbasins, are main vehicle that transports Atlantic properties. Consideration ice ocean models together does not lead significant alterations Although inclusion sea affects upper (halocline) layers, occurs deeper which much less affected by processes.
