摘要: Abstract The subculture of science has ‘borders’ that many find difficult to negotiate. These borders become more complex the further understandings are from traditional western perspectives. This paper examines experiences two pre-service teachers' teaching in a non-western context --the Cook Islands-- using data gathered through interviews and learning logs. lens ‘border crossing’ been used make sense these teach as it provides insights into ways which participants negotiated such crossings over time. research highlights importance recognising positive interactions potential for diverse within cultural context.
