摘要: Although blood is the reference medium in field of forensic toxicology, alternative matrices are required case limited, unavailable or unusable samples. The present review investigated suitability bone marrow (BM) as an matrix to characterize xenobiotic consumption and its influence on occurrence death. Basic data BM physiology reported order highlight specificities this their analytical toxicokinetic consequences. A reports, animal human studies involving sample analysis focuses various parameters interpretation toxicological results: analytic limits, sampling location, pharmacokinetics, blood/BM concentration correlation, stability postmortem redistribution. Tables summarizing conditions quantification 45 compounds from samples provide a useful tool for toxicologists. specific section devoted ethanol shows that, despite successful quantification, highly dependent interval. In conclusion, interesting matrix, further experimental validated assays confirm great potential relevance toxicology.
