摘要: We report direct observation of electrochemical and thermal dealloying processes individual metal alloy nanoparticles (NPs). Electrochemical single Ag–Hg NPs was achieved in a basic solution (e.g., pH 13) by oxidizing Hg under controlled potentials. Ag can also be oxidized during single-particle collision. However, it requires elevated The strong environment promoted the formation oxides collision leading to unique core–shell type nanostructure which further confirmed transmission electron microscopy (TEM). In dealloying, evaporated due use high-energy beam process imaged situ inside TEM. Both resulted transformation an amorphous NP more stable nanocrystal.
