摘要: Discharge of Ni(II) containing wastewater to terrestrial environment can lead serious pollution issues. This study presents a facile, cost-effective and highly efficient method rapidly remove from using calcined Mg/Al layered double hydroxide (LDH), which is pioneering investigation the LDH positively charged ions. The kinetic studies showed that removal was very rapid with pseudo first order k up 3.6 ± 0.5 h−1, maximum 204.2 10.6 mg g−1. In addition, our results reveal both humic (HA) fulvic acids (FA) strongly bind surface LDH, demonstrates effectively cationic anionic pollutants in single process. With increase pH 7.5, Ni, HA FA by are all drastically enhanced. Our also demonstrated strong synergetic effect on 290.6 16.4 g−1 480.4 21.3 at 7, respectively. possible mechanism be due incorporation Ni into structure replacing leached Mg layers during process rehydration LDH. or bound rehydrated induce an additional Ni(II)-HA -FA complexation consequently leading enhancement removal. trial treating high Ni-containing practice indicates promising material for metal treatment.
