摘要: The influence of clouds on the radiation field is reviewed from point view their representation in climate models. Such models are expected to include, very near future, condensed water as an additional prognostic variable. We examine how simple parameterizations based liquid content can realistically simulate field. focus extended low-level for which numerous results simultaneous and microphysics measurements available. Particular attention given shortwave absorption cloud layers because theoretically calculated absorptances generally weaker than those observed. problem broken approached terms a relationship between actual cover equivalent gives same irradiances but using plane-parallel formalism.
