摘要: The Ran GTPase functions directly in nucleus/cytosol exchange, microtubule and spindle assembly, likely other processes. This chapter focuses on use of the budding yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) model system to delineate vivo roles pathway export tRNAs, ribosomes, mRNA from nucleus cytosol. Emphasis is placed upon complex multiple overlapping pathways that exist possible mechanisms by which cycle may respond environmental cues assure nuclear/cytosol exchange coordinated with cellular metabolism. data support direct for tRNA ribosome nuclear export, but it not clear whether export.
