摘要: Sheep are grazers and thus come into direct indirect contact with other ruminants wildlife including insects arachnids in their natural environment. In Europe, the lambing season coincides period which ticks reviving from dormancy spring. Thus, lambs may contract tick-borne diseases immediately after release on to pasture. tropical subtropical regions, sheep be at risk of infections all year around. Tick-borne rickettsiae, especially A. phagocytophilum is found across elsewhere. However, clinical disease has never been observed outside Europe. The genetic variants bacterium show different degrees virulence effective vaccines yet developed against phagocytophilum.
