摘要: By reflected light microscopy, the thrombi formed on a variety of foreign surfaces have been shown to be composed isolated cellular aggregates and an interaggregate red cell fibrin mesh. The viewed by this method were seen in two dimensions as they at surface blood interface. Standard histological evaluation third dimension, that is depth revealed columnar shaped extending from into mesh surrounding aggregates. Epon plate-blood interfaces with electron microscope. Plates made embedding epoxy used exposed blood, plates fixed initial them embedded more Epon. A layer heavy metal staining, noncellular material was found covering platelets deposited layer. Since not adherent directly, it our postulate intervening film “conditions” preliminary platelet adhesion.
