摘要: The release profile of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), a potent microbicide, from female controlled drug delivery system (FcDDS) made Carbopol 934P and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) was evaluated using newly developed in vitro Simulant Vaginal System (SVS). major parameters involved the profiles SDS were categorized as: (1) formulation variables (total loading weight intravaginal systems, doses systems); (2) intrinsic (vaginal fluid secretion rate, vaginal pH); (3) extrinsic (inserting position). In most conditions, about 70% dose released FcDDS within 6h application. showed that concentrations needed for complete human papilloma virus (HPV) inactivation could be obtained 10 min after It demonstrated (i.e., rate pH fluid) played an integral role determining SDS, while did not significantly affect percentage total amount released. can concluded exploited as device prevention against sexually transmitted diseases.
