摘要: A monolayer of linoleic acid spread at an airwater interface was found to undergo immediate oxygen-dependent contraction when compressed a constant high film pressure. This is in contrast the expansion monolayers other unsaturated acids lower pressures as reported by workers. The process shows quasi-first-order kinetics, and there little evidence for induction period, bulk-phase autoxidation.
