摘要: AIM: The aim of this clinical investigation was to compare the efficacy Gluma Desensitizer and potassium nitrate desensitizing agents on reduction hypersensitivity teeth prepared for full coverage crowns. METHODS AND MATERIALS: This study included 75 vital in 25 patients need fixed prosthesis treatment. After completing routine examinations, measured using an air sensitivity test. measurement a Visual Analog Scale (VAS) before preparation, after desensitizers, cementation. Each tooth randomly put into one three groups according agent used (potassium nitrate, Gluma, control). In each patient abutments other abutment third (the control) no substance used. RESULTS: Both desensitizers decreased dentinal full-coverage crowns, but more effective when applied 88% which vascular pain (with pulse) present. CONCLUSION: results suggest application dentin crown preparations prior cementation reduces post-operative sensitivity. CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Clinical experiments show preparation crowns can cause sharp, transient as result majority cases. Several different substances methods have been suggested reducing such including costly laser treatments. However, findings indicate use desensitizer reduce efficiently with less expense.
