摘要: The NSF Workshop in Quantum Information and Computation for Chemistry assembled experts from directly quantum-oriented fields such as algorithms, chemistry, machine learning, optics, simulation, metrology, well related condensed matter physics, biochemistry, physical inorganic organic spectroscopy. goal of the workshop was to summarize recent progress research at interface quantum information science chemistry discuss promising challenges opportunities field. Furthermore, hoped identify target areas where cross fertilization among these would result largest payoff developments theory, experimental techniques. ideas can be broadly categorized two distinct that obviously have interactions are not separated cleanly. first area is or how tools, both theoretical aid our understanding a wide range problems pertaining chemistry. second information, which aims several aspects chemical sciences technology. results summarized this report.
