摘要: Polymer complexes formed by polyelectrolytes and fluorinated amphiphiles (PEFA) represent a new class of materials which can be prepared easily as nano-structured coatings on large number chemically different substrates. The surface energies PEFA are remarkably low adjusted in the range 6–18 m Jm−2. Many their physical properties, such elastic modulus mechanical strength, determined nature polymer structure. By adjusting charge densities, molecular weights content nonionic comonomers, great variety optimizations for applications possible. have decisive influence nano-structure energy these materials. They act building blocks, vary chains, chain lengths ionic head-groups. Carboxylate, phosphate sulfonate groups preferred preparation PEFAs. scope this review is to present discussion mesomorphous structures (from columnar discotic perforated lamellar), attractive Applications found predominantly low-friction anti-soiling coatings. © 2000 Society Chemical Industry
