摘要: Human life histories as compared to those of other primates and mammals have at least four distinctive characteristics: an exceptionally long span extended period juvenile dependence support reproduction by older post-reproductive individuals male through the provisioning females their offspring. Another feature our species is a large brain with its associated psychological attributes: increased capacities for learning cognition insight. In this paper authors propose theory that unites organizes these observations generates many theoretical empirical predictions. The present some tests predictions outline new can be tested in future research comparative biologists archaeologists paleontologists biological anthropologists demographers geneticists cultural anthropologists.
