Quantitative Evolution of Wetting Phenomena for Super Hydrophobic Surfaces

摘要: The self-cleaning mechanism of lotus leaf has been successfully explained via its super hydrophobic attributes where undesirable particulates on leaf is dredged by rolling off water droplets. Therefore, superhydrophobicity has been coined as surface characteristics which possesses either very high contact angle or very low roll of angle.
