摘要: Using the SCHMUCKER (1970) methodology, an analysis of magnitudes and phases P01-response, for periods from 5 to 35 days, a group American European observatories has been used investigate validity often assumed spherical symmetry electrical conductivity Earth. The values σ z, perfect substitute conductor determined by each observatory, were not found be consistent with such model thus supporting suggestion ROBERTS (1984) indicating that more complex is required. Anomalous results obtained North high latitude region which test SCHULTZ LARSEN (1987) response functions inconsistent assumption zonal morphology geomagnetic field, but our discloses geographical dependence z may warrant further investigation. In region, variation suggests general increase in depth conducting mantle decrease latitude. anomalies short period studies are observed long study. This unexpected as PRICE (1967) shown surface generally transparent variations than variations.
