摘要: More than 20% of the world's agricultural land may contain acid soil. Aluminum toxicity becomes a serious growth limiting factor in many plant species when soil pH is lower 5.5. Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes differ widely tolerance to excess Al, and breeding more tolerant priority affected regions. Our objectives were confirm number genes for Al determine their chromosomal arm location Brazilian wheat cv. BH 1146 identify DNA markers linked gene(s). A population recombinant inbred lines, developed by single-seed descent from cross x 'Anahuac', was screened with two methods hydroponic nutrient solution. Both showed bimodal distribution tolerance, consistent single gene inheritance. Eighty-three low-copy clones used screen polymorphism between parents. Clone bcd1230 detected restriction fragment that located 1.1 centiMorgans this on Chromosome 4DL explained 85% phenotypic variation tolerance. We propose symbol Alt designate major 4DL. This RFLP marker can aid transfer into sensitive germplasms.
