摘要: Abstract An unidentified collection of bryozoans made by L. F. Pourtales and Agassiz during the Hassler Expedition (1871–1872) was recently discovered in teaching Invertebrate Paleontology Department at Museum Comparative Zoology, Harvard University. Bryozoan samples found included stations from Barbados to Brazil around coast South America La Jolla, California. The first most successful deepwater collecting done early expedition two (146 m 183 m) off Barbados, on December 29 30, 1871. Thirty-one taxa were collected stations: five cyclostomes 26 cheilostomes, including one new genus. None reproductive, so could not be identified species level. Of 16 represent species: Caberea hassleri, Cellaria louisorum, Exochella tropica, Smittoidea reginae, Parasmittina barbadensis, Parkermavella salebrosa, Hippoporina rutelliformis, Metro...
