摘要: Human tumors implanted s.c. into athymic mice released lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) isoenzymes unique to human tissue. These were readily identified and quantitated in mouse plasma. When injected i.p. or i.v., LDH rapidly cleared from the blood circulation, decreasing within 10% of initial value 12 hr. tumor cell lines (HEp-2 T-24) i.v. heterozygote mice, they over a 24-hr period. these cells by route, 4-day period studied. Solid HEp-2, T-24, SW-733 continuously amounts that directly related mass. Therefore, measurement plasma levels is useful parameter for detecting presence growth animals. Since bulk assumed derive injured destroyed cells, assay should provide marker determining effectiveness experimental antitumor therapy mice.
