Mechanism of broad-band luminescences in ZnS phosphors—I. Spectrum shift during decay and with excitation intensity

摘要: Abstract The measurements of spectrum shift during decay and with excitation intensity are made for the broad-band luminescences in ZnS phosphors due to Ib activator IIIb or VIIb coactivator, order investigate luminescence mechanism. Green-Cu Blue-Ag show remarkable shifts; namely, emission peak shifts lower energies also decreasing intensity. It is concluded that these so-called donor-acceptor pair mechanism, assuming donor acceptor states involved created, respectively, by coactivator activator. self-activated shows a gradual at liquid helium temperature, although it somewhat irregular nitrogen temperature. seems one has assume mechanism this luminescence. Blue-Cu, Red-Cu Red-Cu.In no shifts. concluded, together knowledge already obtained from other measurements, transitions occur between two localized levels confined within associated centers.
