摘要: Abstract Coatings with a thickness of 22–32 μm were formed on an AM60B magnesium alloy by plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) in electrolytes containing 12.0–24.0 g/l NaAlO 2 and other additives. SEM analyses the coated samples showed that coatings compact relatively low porosity. X-ray diffraction revealed consisted mainly MgAl O 4 MgO phases. The relative amount coating increased increasing concentration. thick provide good corrosion protection for magnesium, as indicated results potentiodynamic polarization tests. In addition, PEO treatment also significantly improved wear resistance alloy. Pin-on-disk tests reduced volume loss factor 10.
