摘要: The populations of the N2(A 3 Sigma u+, nu =0-5) states in a pure nitrogen glow discharge have been determined from measurements absorption first positive system bands for gas pressures range 0.1-2 Torr and current densities up to about 30 mA cm-2. observed vibrational distributions are highly non-Boltzmann an inversion population between levels =2 =3 was found. total =0-5 saturates with increasing current, saturated ranging 6*1012 cm-3, depending on pressure.
