摘要: Abstract The large number of dammed rivers worldwide emphasizes the need to couple models natural processes with describing human behaviors. However, such behavioral are often simplistic and lack proper validation against observational data. In this work, we contribute a new approach infer typical operations water reservoirs from historical observations, using data-driven modeling based on eigenbehavior analysis. is demonstrated monthly storage data 172 in California, USA. Results show that proposed method identifies four profiles, which strongly linked key features reservoirs. Moreover, how identified can be used for discovering associated reservoir characteristics, vulnerable drought conditions.
