摘要: In this study the first in situ high-pressure single-crystal X-ray diffraction experiments at Xpress, Indo-Italian beamline of Elettra synchrotron, Trieste (Italy), are reported. A description experimental setup and procedures for centring, data collection processing, using diamond anvil cells, provided. High-pressure on a synthetic crystal clinoenstatite (MgSiO3), CaCO3 polymorphs natural sample leucophoenicite [Mn7Si3O12(OH)2] validated suitability to: (i) locate characterize pressure-induced phase transitions; (ii) solve ab initio structure polymorphs; (iii) perform fine structural analyses atomic scale as function pressure; (iv) disclose complex symmetry features undetected conventional sources.
